Very few things make me as mad as the anti-vaccination crowd. You hurt everyone, not just your own children. Do some research on herd immunity, people, and see exactly how horrific that movement is.
This is why I can’t be friends with anyone in the anti-vaccine crowd. It’s one of those lines you just can’t cross.
Get your fucking vaccines, people.
People are anti-vaccination because there is a huge correlation between infant vaccination and autism.
False. There is no correlation. None. Anywhere. Not even an argument. There is no connection between vaccines and autism.
People lied linking autism to vaccination. It wasn’t science that ‘proved’ it, it was just people being lying assholes.
Get vaccinated, get your kids vaccinated, it will help out everyone that much better.
Hey look - some CURRENT FUCKING ARTICLES about people getting knocked on their asses from whooping cough (pertussis) and not having been vaccinated. Whooping cough can be deadly to small children.
even if it was true (which it’s not) how the fuck is autism worse than polio, rubella, and diptheria
Just so you know, Andrew Wakefield, the author of the 1998 paper which linked vaccination to autism, was found to have several undeclared conflicts of interest with regard to the research, and was found to have manipulated the data to get the result he wanted. The paper was officially retracted in 2010, and his professional misconduct was so great that he was struck from the medical register. He is no longer allowed to practice as a doctor.
No other study has been able to find a meaningful correlation between autism and vaccination.
If you are not vaccinated, you may not get sick yourself. But you can pass on deadly diseases to children too young to be vaccinated, or to people with immunosuppressed conditions (like those undergoing chemotherapy or those with a recent organ transplant), or to those who could not be vaccinated due to allergies. I myself never completed the whooping cough vaccination because I was allergic to it.
And yeah brosevelt, quite frankly, I would prefer an autistic child to a dead one.
